To continue to eat pasta without getting fat, you need to eat it
"al dente" (slightly cooked, yet slightly crunchy to the bite) ie 1
minute before the time indicated on the package, as it ensures the gradual
assimilation of sugars in the pasta. Actually, the more a starchy food is
cooked, the more is soft and flakes into small particles that leave too quickly
the stomach. Carbohydrates that characterize the paste behave unfortunately as
"simple sugars" and assimilate too quickly. However, little cooked
pasta retains the starch in the form of complex sugars that are assimilated
more slowly and maintain a more interesting satiety effect.
To avoid eating too
many sugary foods and lose weight permanently, it is advisable to eat pasta
with vegetables, meat or fish. Avoid butter and cream: there is nothing worse!
The quality of pasta is also paramount. Opt for durum wheat pasta.
